Experience the possibilities of gesture control and contextual awareness at AWE Europe at the Crunchfish booth

Designing for immersive environments is fundamentally different from designing for 2D screens. Content is all around you and your whole body becomes the interface. These interaction challenges increase the demand for user friendly and efficient ways to engage with mobile and wearable devices.

At AWE Europe, Crunchfish will show how to interact with digital interfaces in a more natural way using gesture control. Our mobile proximity technology enables contextual awareness, securing information relevance and efficient information exchange based on physical presence and closeness.

Natural and intuitive interaction
Since AR and VR devices are designed to be used without tangible interfaces, traditional interaction methods no longer apply. Gesture control lets you engage with AR and VR environments in a direct way, making interactions more fluid and immersive.
Crunchfish has many years’ experience of UX design from gesture interaction projects. Our software is used e.g. in AR smart glasses and VR headsets to navigate content and control tasks.

Contextual awareness
Managing context dependent information means you can provide the right information, at the right time, in the right place and to the right people, securing information relevance and efficient information exchange. Crunchfish provides applications with an intelligent proximity layer that adds awareness of who and what is present in real time. This contextual awareness enables you to discover others nearby, communicate instantly and to share information. Our software creates innovative solutions for e.g. context independent information in AR smart glasses.

At AWE Europe you can try out the following Crunchfish demos

  • Visual Assist in AR smart glasses
  • 3D interaction in a VR context using Tango and ToF camera
  • 3D interaction for mobile AR using ARCore

Welcome to visit us in booth 325 to discuss the possibilities of gesture interaction and contextual awareness.

About Crunchfish
Crunchfish develops software that creates new possibilities for interaction with mobile and wearable devices. We use the cameras in mobile and wearable devices to detect and track a person’s face and hands. This enables you to engage with digital interfaces in a more natural way with gestures. Through low energy Bluetooth, we provide applications with an intelligent proximity layer, that lets users of mobile and wearable devices locally and seamlessly discover who is nearby, connect and share information.

Crunchfish’s technology is licensed to consumer electronics manufacturers and application developers and is currently available in millions of devices from global enterprises. The company was founded in 2010 and is based in Malmö, Sweden. Crunchfish is listed on Nasdaq First North since 2016. Visit crunchfish.com for more information.
