The Crunchfish technology for mobile payments catches great interest at the London based conference Internet of Banking & Payments 2017, which is the number one event within mobile payments.

Joachim Samuelsson, Executive Chairman of Crunchfish, together with partners, are keynote speakers at the opening day of the conference Internet of Banking & Payments. The theme of the presentation is Disrupting the Payment Ecosystem with Zero-Friction AR-based M-Commerce.

The Crunchfish presentation focuses on the multiple ways the company’s patented m-commerce technology is able to both complement and disrupt the payment ecosystem with the following highlights.

  • Faster, safer, more simple and flexible payment solution
  • Comparing Crunchfish’s Connected AR-technology with cards and NFC or QR based mobile payment solutions
  • Reinventing in-store personal service delivery
  • Integrating loyalty programs and handling of coupons
  • Supporting all smartphones at potentially all POS
  • Exploring retail-, supermarket- and arena case studies.

“It is highly motivating to experience how people in the industry with such an interest embrace our value proposition. We can see that our go-to-market timing is perfect as the whole industry is searching for new, more simple ways for payments. When we can demonstrate use-cases where it is easier to pay with a smartphone than using a credit card we catch attention.” says Joachim Samuelsson, Executive Chairman of the Board at Crunchfish.

Crunchfish’s mobile proximity technology applied to in-store m-commerce offers a faster, safer, more simple and flexible payment solution than paying with cards or any other mobile payment solution in the market. As an additional important benefit, the technology also enables a next generation in-store personal service experience as well as efficiently integrating loyalty programs and handling of coupons.

The key note presentation is a joint effort by the founding partners of Øresund Fintech:

  • Victor Sandberg, CEO and Co-founder of pej
  • Joakim Wallin, Head of Cards, Resurs Bank
  • Johannes Ivarsson, Head of Future, Smart Refill

For example, at package pick-up, at the bank, at an entrance to premises or during login to a computer. M-identification digitizes the process and makes it faster, smoother and safer. Today there is e-identification that allows the identification of an individual online or in an app. In the physical meeting, m-identification is required, where the personal identity is associated with the identity of the mobile phone, and thereby accessing personal data online.
