Imagine you’re out hunting Pokémons. In the park your phone detects other hunters, one of them a close friend. You send her a message and meet up. Since she is out of Pokéballs you give her some by sliding them over from your phone to hers. Just as easily she trades you one of her Pokémons.

Although there’s no gym nearby you want to try out your new Pokémon, so you challenge your friend to a one-on-one battle right there. While you’re battling some of the other hunters have formed a group and they send you a message asking you to join. Together you set off in search for more Pokémons. At a gym your team challenges a very powerful opponent, but together you’re able to vanquish him and save the day!
