Crunchfish Proximity is a subsidiary of Crunchfish that currently has its business focus on Blippit, which is an alternative payment solution planned for launch in Q4 2019. Recently, Blippit announced that it extends its payment architecture with software for integration in cash registers. This opens up a possibility to prospect all cash register suppliers that have an interest in offering app payment. Following this strategic decision and in preparation of the upcoming roll-out, Crunchfish Proximity has recruited Bo Lennselius as Project Manager for Blippit.
Bo Lennselius arrives at Crunchfish Proximity with solid experience within IT, digitisation, retail and consultancy. He has 17 years of experience from IKEA where he e.g. was responsible for the business development of IT Infrastructure, Digital Workplace and also IT solutions in the supply chain. Bo also carries experience in business development, having co-founded and developed an international expert company within software management and process improvement, which was acquired by Ericsson and Det Norske Veritas.
Blippit is an alternative payment solution built around a proprietary app terminal that enables mobile check-out in retail points of sale. The app terminal acts as the interface between any app and the cash register. The roll-out of Blippit will commence in Q4 2019. As a Project Manager at Blippit, Bo will be responsible for the roll-out of Blippit and the implementation in the retail market. He will also work as the technical liaison with app developers, cash register suppliers and retailers to further develop and promote Blippit.
We wish to welcome Bo to the Crunchfish Proximity team!
